We got West Brom right and Fulham did manage promotion so pretty good. The Championship is always a tough league to predict and 2020/21 is going to be no different.
Check out our predictions for the upcoming season.
st | Swansea | They looked good last season and have made some good signings. This is a very open league this year and we fancy them to top it! |
nd | Brentford | A good team...lost a few but also brought in a few...promotion this time. |
rd | Preston | Great set up, good manager and in this open league we think they will make the top three. |
th | Norwich City | Not enough to bounce straight back but enough for the playoffs |
th | Stoke | We think with a full season under his belt this is the time for Stoke to show their undoubted class. |
th | Derby County | Just could sneak the playoffs. |
th | Nottm Forest | We think they will miss out again. |
th | Cardiff City | For us not quite good enough for a top six finish. |
th | Bournemouth | It is going to be a long season for newly relegated Bournemouth. |
th | Middlesbrough | Neil Warnock may be long in the tooth...very long but has enough to keep Middlesbrough going. |
th | Watford | We think Championship football will be a shock to newly relegated Watford. |
th | Huddersfield | Mid table all the way. |
th | Luton Town | They have the right man in charge to keep them safe. |
th | Bristol City | It is going to be a long season for Bristol. Some poor decisions from the top will cost them this season. |
th | Reading | Another season of disappointment for Reading. |
th | Millwall | Good, well managed club and team but too much competition for them. |
th | QPR | For us they will be lucky to survive. |
th | Blackburn | An old fashioned manager will struggle in this league. |
th | Rotherham | Just enough for them to stay up. |
th | Coventry | They had a great season. Who knows if they would have made it if the season had not been stopped early. Good manager, no finances. Will survive...just. |
st | Wycombe | We hope they will be the team to surprise. Early season form will keep them up. |
nd | Barnsley | Last year saved by Wigan points deduction. Not this time around. |
rd | Birmingham | Third season struggling. This time they go down! |
th | Sheff Wed | Starting the season -12 pts it is hard to see them surviving. |
