- How do I sign up for an account?
From the footballWINNERS homepage click on the button that reads “Register today for your chance to win”, ensuring that any popup blockers for this website are disabled. You will then have the chance to fill out your personal profile, including all relevant contact details.
Once you have filled out the form click the button that reads “Open my account”. Once clicked you will be sent to the email verification page. At this point you should check your email inbox at the address supplied to find the verification code that we have sent you. Simply put the code into the email verification box and click “Verify my account”.
Entering the correct email verification code will then complete your account registration process and you will taken to the members area where you can play footballWINNERS!
- How do I login to the member’s area?
From the footballWINNERS homepage click on the button that reads “Members Login”. Please ensure that all popup blockers are disabled for this website. You will be presented with a new window that is on our secure server and encrypted with 128bit SSL. You can then enter your account username and password to be granted access to the members area.
- How do I deposit money to my account?
Login to the member’s area. On the top menu click “Deposit funds”. On the deposit funds page you can enter the amount you would like to deposit (between £10 and £100) and your card details. For you convenience and security we have pre-filled your card holder address details – as the account holder must be the same person as the card holder.
Once you have completed this page click on the button that reads “Proceed to payment confirmation”. You will then be taken to the payment confirmation page. Please check all your details are correct. Once you are happy to proceed please check the box that confirms your details and click the button “Please process my deposit”.
Your payment request is then submitted to our payment partner Metacharge. Depending on your bank account setup you may have to fill out additional Visa Verified or MasterCard SecureCode details.
Once completed we will notify you of a successful transaction. You will then receive two emails, one from footballWINNERS and one from Metacharge detailing your transaction. We will also update your current account balance and the transaction information will be available to view in the “Transactions” menu selection.
- How do I buy a REAL ticket on footballWINNERS?
Login to the member’s area. Once logged in and when a game draw is live, you will have the option to “Buy a REAL ticket”. This is presented within a red table.
Click the button “Buy a REAL ticket”. This will then take you to the team selection page. To select a team simply single click on that teams name and a football icon will appear in the selection box next to your chosen team. To deselect a team, single click on that teams name and it will be deselected from your winning teams.
Once you have selected 10 winning teams a "Proceed to ticket confirmation" button will appear. Click this button once and you will be taken to the confirmation page where you can complete your purchase. If you are happy with your selection check the confirmation box and click “Buy your ticket now”. The cost of a ticket is £2 and will be debited directly for your current account balance on footballWINNERS. If you do not have enough funds in your account then you will be presented with the opportunity to deposit further funds.
- How can I play for fun on footballWINNERS?
Login to the member’s area. If a draw is live you will have a blue box that reads “Play for fun”. Here you should click the blue button “Play for fun”. This will then take you to the team selection page. To select a team simply single click on that teams name and a football icon will appear in the selection box next to your chosen team.
Once you have selected 10 winning teams a "Proceed to ticket confirmation" button will appear. Click this button once and you will be taken to the confirmation page where you can complete your play for fun ticket.
To deselect a team, single click on that teams name and it will be deselected from your winning teams.
- How do I view my current tickets?
Login to the member’s area. Click on the “My account” menu item. If you have any tickets for the current draw which have not yet been processed through our winner allocation system they will appear on this page.
- How do I view my previous ticket purchases?
Login to the member’s area. Click on the “My account” menu item. You will then see a separate menu below the main menu. Click on “Previous tickets”. You will then see a listing of your previous REAL tickets. If you wish to view your previous play for fun tickets there is a link at the bottom of this page which will toggle between real and play for fun tickets.
- I have a winning ticket – how will I be notified?
Every week we will run our winner allocation system (normally this will happen on a Saturday night or Sunday morning after all games have been completed). If you have a matching winning ticket then you will be notified by email that you have won.
Based on how many people have a winning ticket you will be allocated the whole or a share of the jackpot for the game. The funds will appear in your footballWINNERS current account automatically.
- I have moved – how do I change my address and contact details?
Login to the member’s area. Click on the “My account” menu item. On the menu that appears below click “Profile”. Your current details will then be shown. To update these simply enter the new information and click “Send request”. For security reasons we do not allow you to update your details directly. Your update request will be logged with an administration team member and we may contact you directly with your new contact details to ensure the changes are correct. We will then update your profile on your behalf.
- I wish to make a withdrawal from my account – how do I do this?
Login to the member’s area. Click on the “My account” menu item. On the menu that appears below click “Withdraw”. On the withdrawal request page you can select how much you wish to withdraw and how you would like to get paid.
You can obviously only withdraw to the maximum available funds in your account.
You should then select how you would like to get paid. If you select BACS you will be shown your current account details for withdrawal direct to your bank account. You should check these details and confirm them before continuing.
If you select cheque you current address detail will be show. This is where we will send the cheque for your withdrawal request. Please ensure that these details are correct before confirming your withdrawal request.
The funds you requested will be taken from your account on footballWINNERS and your request logged with an administrative team member. Once we have verified your request you will received a confirmation email detailing that we have approved your request and have sent your payment.
- I want to change my password – how do I do this?
Login to the member’s area. Click on the “My account” menu item. On the menu that appears below click on “Change password”. Here you will have to enter your current password and your new password twice to ensure you have entered it correctly. If all details are correct we will then save your new password.
Your new password will then be ready for when you next login to footballWINNERS.
- I have forgotten my login details!
No problem! Go to the footballWINNERS homepage, with the box marked “Secure login” there is a link to “Forgotten login details”. On the forgotten login details page you will have to enter the username that you supplied us with at the sign up stage.
If we find a match for the username entered the login details will be sent to the email address on our database.
If you can’t remember your username then please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org giving us as many details as possible and we will contact you regarding your login details.
- My account has been suspended, what can I do?
Your account could have been suspended for a number of reasons. Therefore we ask that you contact us email@example.com for more information. Please detail your name, username and email address used on your footballWINNERS account.
- I wish to close my account, how do I do this?
Closing your account requires a £0.00 balance in your account. Please withdraw all funds from your account and wait for these to be processed. Once complete you should send a “ACCOUNT CLOSURE” request to firstname.lastname@example.org detailing your account username, email address and name. We will then contact you directly before closing your account as a security measure.
