What a season!

Footballwinners may have gone quiet but not so for the Premier League or the Championship.

Another fantastic season in the Premier League.  Will we see a new kid on the block steal 4th spot from Liverpool or will Rafa be able to live up to his promise to the Liverpool faithfull?
Portsmouth already look doomed.  No money, no website (sorry...my mistake), reduced playing staff and no goals.  Who do we tip to join portsmouth?  Of the new boys, Burnley look the most likely to drop.  Then for us it is either West Ham, Blackburn, Wolves or Hull.  Our final tip for the drop is Hull.

The Championship continues to learch all over the place.  On their day it appears that any team can beat any other team.  Newcastle, West Brom have looked strong all season and Nottingham Forest put a fantastic run together to put them in contention for an automatic spot.  We predict Newcastle and West Brom will secure the top two positions with Nottingham Forest and Cardiff looking good for two of the four playoff spots.  After that, who knows.  Still would not back against Ipswich or QPR!
Some amazing results this year....as you know Footballwinners follows the exploits of Bristol City FC.  This year we were unfortunate to sit through a 6-0 HOME defeat to bitter rivals Cardiff.  I am still getting over the pain!

Take care and let us have your news and views

World Cup Winner 2010

fW predicts.......

Spain?...Brazil?....Holland?....Germany?....Argentina?...
Uruguay?.....Paraguay? or Ghana?

We would love to predict Ghana but we fancy that we will get this one right.

Not African so is it going to be South American or European?

We felt from day one that Spain would be the one to watch.  A slip up against Switzerland did not deter.....so we back SPAIN all the way to win the 2010 World Cup.

Final prediction Spain v Brazil

Spain to win 3-1 in normal time.
